2022

I have to say the year 2022 taught me so much. I learned just how strong I could be. I always had my faith to lean on, but I never knew how much I needed Him. Until the day my husband was diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.

I met David in 1976. We have no children. We are each other’s best friends. We rely on one another. As couples should do. It’s how you get through the storms. Together, we faced his diagnoses head on. By the way, if you were two or ninety-two I asked what your blood type was. David only needed to get better. My job was to worry about the details, to find a living liver donor. Nine months later, we received the gift of life. Today, my husband is stronger than ever, healthy and back to doing what he loves.

I am back to writing, blogging and posting on social media. I’m looking forward to leaving 22 in my rear-view mirror.

Recently, I received a letter from a book fan telling me how she re-read my books because she found inspiration on the pages. A while back, a woman wrote to me and said that she was about to commit suicide until she read how strong a woman can be when she needs to be. I TAKE NO CREDIT. [Capitalization in original] I give all the glory to God. He carries us, enlightens out souls and gets us through the storms.

I am not preaching. I am not a preacher. I am a God-fearing woman. My mission is to inspire everyone who reads my words, stories, books and yes my blog.

May you find inspiration in 2023. My hope for you is to be inspired enough to reach your personal goals, dreams and hey desires in life. Don’t carry the bad days into tomorrow. Leave them behind.

With the completion of my first series The Be Strong Enough Series, I am eager to start a new chapter in my life. This year, I am writing a brand new series. The Lighthouse Series about three totally different men. One is a billionaire, a millionaire, and the other as broke as you can get. However, they all have one thing in common. They were raised by strong women.

In addition to my novels, I am writing three novellas every year, and I am a newly hired ghostwriter. To which I am extremely excited about. To say I have a busy year ahead of me is – well to say I am a happily retired woman – living my best life.

My goal in retirement was to inspire you one story at a time. God bless you all.

From our home to yours. Wishing you butterfly kisses and many wishes coming true.
